Mike and Torya open the episode by discussing a pet project that they have been working on. They are not making money yet, but it has been a great outlet for creativity. For example, they discuss doing a TikTok dance with Mike, who has purple hair. The conversation then discusses social media drama and how it can be like high school sometimes. Mike then mentions that they found memes to add fun to the project.
Torya and Mike start discussing a Reddit post written by a 29-year-old female who has not had contact with her father since she was eleven. Her father divorced her mother when she was ten and chose to prioritize his new family and stepson over her and her brother. When they asked when he would visit, he would say he was busy. Torya then suggests limiting her interruptions to three total, which Mike agrees to. They then discuss the fact that the writer of the Reddit post writes like a deranged eight-year-old, and Torya will try to correct her writing as she reads it.
The conversation was about a woman who her father had abandoned at the age of 11, and 18 years later had been contacted by her father's stepson asking her to help pay his medical bills. The woman was angry at her father for abandoning her and her brother, not paying child support, and refusing to pay his medical bills. She also told the stepson that he should be using the unpaid child support to cover his father's bills and that his father had lost the right to be her father when he dropped them. Her mother suggested that she could help her father, but the woman refused and told her mother that the father had put out nothing and would return nothing. Ultimately, Torya concluded that the father and the stepson were assholes.
